Brendan James Fraser attended the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where he specialized in acting. After graduating, he continued his education at the Juilliard School in New York City, one of the most renowned acting schools in the world. During his studies, he continued to develop his acting craft and gained his first experience on stage as well as in smaller film and television roles. 

 

He is known for his friendly and approachable manner. In recent years, he has spoken openly about personal challenges, including health problems and periods of personal crisis. He lives a rather secluded life in Los Angeles and places great value on privacy.

 

Fraser celebrated his breakthrough in the early 1990s with roles in films such as "Encino Man" (1992) and "School Ties" (1992). He became particularly well known for the leading role of Rick O'Connell in the adventure film series "The Mummy" (1999-2008). These films brought him international fame and made him a popular action and family star. He also made a name for himself on television with series such as "Scrubs" (2004) and his charismatic presence.
