Daniel Wroughton Craig grew up in Liverpool and developed a passion for acting at an early age. After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he began his career in the theater and played in various productions on London's West End.
Away from the screen, he is also known for his social commitment. He is actively involved in charitable causes, including supporting organizations such as UNICEF and Opportunity Network.
His breakthrough in the film business came in 2000 with the film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider", in which he starred alongside Angelina Jolie. This was followed by other successful films such as "Road to Perdition" (2002) and "Munich" (2005), in which he demonstrated his acting talent.
However, the highlight of Craig's career came in 2006 when he took on the iconic role of secret agent James Bond. His first Bond film, "Casino Royale", was acclaimed by critics and audiences alike and established him as one of the most popular actors to play the famous agent. Craig has played Bond in a total of five films, including "Quantum of Solace" (2008), "Skyfall" (2012) and "Spectre" (2015).
In addition to his work as James Bond, Craig has also appeared in other successful films, including "Layer Cake" (2004), "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (2011) and "Knives Out" (2019). He has shown that he is at home in various genres and can convincingly portray a wide range of characters.

In 2007, he received the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama for his role in "Casino Royale". This award recognizes his outstanding acting performance and his contribution to the success of the James Bond franchise.
