David William Duchovny studied at Princeton University, where he earned a degree in English literature, and continued his education at Yale University, where he received a master's degree in acting.

 

He is actively involved in various social causes. He is committed to animal welfare and supports organizations that work to protect animals. He has also campaigned for mental health and speaks openly about his own experiences with depression. Duchovny also uses his platform to draw attention to issues such as environmental protection and education.

 

Duchovny's breakthrough came with his role as FBI agent Fox Mulder in the cult series “The X-Files”, which first aired in 1993. The series quickly became a worldwide phenomenon and made him famous overnight. His portrayal of the skeptical investigator who believes in conspiracy theories and searches for paranormal phenomena earned him great acclaim and established him as one of the leading actors on television.
