Angelina Jolie Voight met Brad Pitt during the filming of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". After ten years of relationship and six children, the relationship of Hollywood's dream couple "Brangelina" ended in 2016.

 

Since her filming in Cambodia in 2000, she has been increasingly involved in humanitarian projects. She traveled to countless crisis areas and was appointed UN ambassador. Several awards for her social commitment followed, including the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

 

Angelina Jolie established herself in Hollywood with her role as a psychiatric patient in "Girl, interrupted" (1999). And in 2001 she became an international superstar. She embodied the title role in the adaptation of the legendary video game "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" (with father Jon Voight and Daniel Craig). 

 

Her biggest commercial success was the action comedy "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". Jolie made her debut as a director in 2007 with "A Place in Time" and also as a screenwriter in 2011 with "In the Land of Blood and Honey."

 

She continues her humanitarian work today, using social media to bring attention to critical issues.
