Charlotte Rampling & her dubbing voice Krista Posch

Tessa Charlotte Rampling showed an interest in acting at an early age and began her training at the Royal Court Theatre School in London.

 

Despite her success, Rampling remains down-to-earth and is involved in various social projects. She campaigns for women's rights and supports organizations such as Amnesty International.

 

Rampling made her film debut in 1965 in the movie "The Knack...and How to Get It". This was followed by further roles in British films such as "Georgy Girl" (1966) and "The Damned" (1969). In the 1970s, she gained international recognition with films such as "The Night Porter" (1974), in which she played a former concentration camp inmate, and "Farewell, My Lovely" (1975).

 

In the decades that followed, Rampling established herself as one of the leading actresses of her generation. She has worked with renowned directors such as Woody Allen ("Stardust Memories", 1980), François Ozon ("Under the Sand", 2015) and Luca Guadagnino ("The Swimming Pool", 2015).

 

In addition to her work in film, Rampling has also appeared in theater productions. She has appeared at the Royal National Theatre in London and played the lead role in a production of "The Cherry Orchard" at New York's Lincoln Center.

Rampling has received several awards for her acting performance. In 2016, she received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in the film "45 Years". She has also won numerous other awards, including a European Film Award, a César and a Silver Bear.
