Melissa Ivy Rauch grew up in a Jewish family and discovered her passion for acting at an early age. After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, she began her career in show business.

 

She is married to the screenwriter Winston Beigel and they have two children together. She lives with her family in Los Angeles.

 

In addition to her acting activities, Rauch is also committed to charitable causes. Among other things, she is committed to organizations that campaign for women's health.

 

Her breakthrough came in 2009 when she took on the role of Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz in the popular sitcom "The Big Bang Theory". The series was a huge success and Rauch received much praise for her portrayal of the intelligent and lively microbiologist.
